Victoria has been a member of the team at Rinehart Fertility Center and the Hinsdale Center for Reproduction since 2003, helping patients achieve their dreams of creating or expanding their family.
Victoria began her insurance medical billing career in the Workers Compensation and Auto Liability division of the insurance world. After years of developing customer service departments for start-up companies, Victoria chose to bring her experience and expertise to the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) field to better serve the needs of patients.
Victoria has been an adjunct faculty member at William Rainey Harper College (Palatine, Illinois), teaching courses in Introduction to Medical Billing, as well as, Procedural and Diagnostic Coding. While her expertise in the financial aspects of infertility initially brought her to this specialty – she has added so much more to the practice and to the patient experience over the years.
Victoria implemented and coached infertility patient support groups which led to many ongoing relationships as patients bonded under her direction. She actively advanced social media patient connections and became the primary patient contact during her tenure under Dr. Michael Hickey. As the practice transitioned to the Rinehart Fertility Center, Victoria became a guiding force, adding her ever-present patient commitment and operational knowledge to maintain a positive and stable environment.
Today, Victoria continues to grow in her managerial role while still providing the individual patient care and staff management that makes her the wonderful team member that is so appreciated. She truly knows your name, is a great listener and will give you positive support through your fertility journey.
Debbie Cashion hails from the small town of Streator, IL where her first experience in the medical field was as a pharmacy technician. Today, she combines her varied healthcare work experience with her unique perspective in understanding what it is to be a fertility patient – she was diagnosed with recurrent pregnancy loss and was blessed with two daughters through fertility treatment.
In 1997, Debbie began her career in reproductive medicine as a medical biller. Over the years, and while working with Dr. Rinehart at a previous practice, she continued to master her skills in fertility practice billing, finance and human resources.
At the Rinehart Fertility Center, Debbie provides our practice and its patients with high-level financial management skills that are essential to our success and she does all of this with a smile, a laugh and always words of encouragement for co-workers and patients alike!
When you have a question – ask Rachel! With over twenty years’ experience in the field of REI and a true devotion to understanding the complex science and human relationships of infertility, Rachel is a well-respected clinical manager. From her first bachelor’s degree in biology (and becoming certified as a medical assistant and working with a family practice group) to her 11 years as clinical assistant at the Center for Human Reproduction, Chicago, (where she learned everything from performing ultrasounds to andrology procedures to assisting with IVF procedures), Rachel fell in love with infertility medicine and its patients.
After completing her second degree in nursing, Rachel joined Dr. Rinehart as a clinical nurse and lead IVF procedure nurse in his private practice in Evanston, IL. Throughout the years, Rachel has remained an essential assistant to him, and knowledgeable resource to all clinical staff, as Dr. Rinehart formed and practiced at the Reproductive Medicine Institute.
Today, Rachel is an undeniable gift to the staff and patients at the Rinehart Fertility Center. Rachel brings a wealth of clinical knowledge in all areas of patient care, including new patient evaluations, assisted reproduction, third-party coordination, and in-office operative procedures.
When reflecting over the 20 years of her work in REI, she is proud to continue to share many hours of her patients’ lives, their successes, losses, disappointments, and celebrations. Says Rachel Easton, “Each of my patients has touched my heart and made me a better nurse…and a better person. I’m in for life!” Here at RFC, we could not be happier to hear that!
